At Forefront Physiotherapy Geelong we take pride in empowering our clients to take control of their health, no matter their physical ability or function. We work with NDIS clients who are plan-managed or self-managed to help maximise their physical function, capacity for participation and improve overall well-being. Through physiotherapy, our aim is to help NDIS participants reach their full potential to enjoy and participate in life, and break down the barriers to achieve their goals.
Our physiotherapists are experienced in working with people with disabilities, encountering and treating clients with a varied range of disabilities and conditions such as:
- MS
- Cerebral Palsy
- ASD
- Intellectual Disability
- Stroke
- ABI
- Chromosomal Disorders
- Plus many more
The physiotherapists at Forefront Physiotherapy Geelong are specifically trained to identify loss of physical function and to maximise restoration of movement in people with disabilities. We can do this through exercise therapy, balance and coordination training, as well as task-specific functional training and hands-on therapy.
Additionally, we can prescribe gait aids and other equipment to help improve mobility. We treat all participants in a place that is most convenient to you, whether it is in the comfort of your own home, in the clinic, or in some other more convenient community setting. Plus, the friendly team at Forefront Physiotherapy Geelong are very familiar with navigating through NDIS to streamline the treatment process.
We pride ourselves on communication at Forefront Physiotherapy Geelong, and developing a meaningful relationship with our clients is important to us to understand our clients and their goals. The NDIS is about giving back choice, control and independence to the participants, and we respect this by working towards what is most important to you, tailoring treatments and programs to suit each unique individual. To do this we conduct a thorough interview and assessment with each client, and collaborate with the client, family and other supports to develop goals and treatment plans to get the most out of the client and their NDIS plan.
Our physiotherapists are well-versed in report writing and recommendation letters, we understand a good report can be instrumental in ensuring a client sees the correct supports are sourced and funded come plan review time.
